Aeon: Requesting Archival Materials

Welcome to Aeon!

Aeon allows researchers to submit requests for items in the Special Collections Department, the Cuban Heritage Collection, and the University Archives. Researchers will now be able to register and manage personal information and track requests from any computer using the Aeon system. Links to creating or accessing your Aeon account are below.

All Special Collections, Cuban Heritage Collection, and University Archives materials are for use in their respective reading rooms only. For remote/virtual research assistance please contact asc.library@miami.edu or chc@miami.edu for reference options.

NOTE: In addition to requesting materials via AEON, please also reserve your Reading Room appointment via our LibCal system (link below) based on the following collection schedule:

• Special Collections (SC) and University Archives (UA): Monday - Friday:

• Cuban Heritage Collections (CHC): Monday - Friday:
  For non-UM affiliated patrons, please email chc@miami.edu with your preferred appointment date and time at least seven days prior to your visit. For UM researchers with a Cane ID please book a table https://libcal.miami.edu/reserve/reading-room/chc and notify chc@miami.edu to confirm we have received your request.
